About Me
!Currently travelling! :)
The information in my profile is a bit old (like pre-COVID-time old), I’ll update it when I get back home, but I guess I’m still more or less the same person ;)
I left Germany last July for doing an exchange semester at Stellenbosch University in South Africa and couldn't even imagine back then, how incredible the people I meet will be and how much of Africa I'll get to see. But everything has to come to an end eventually. So after traveling trough Zimbabwe and Botswana, then going back to the Victoria falls, crossing the border to Zambia, taking a train to Tanzania and flying to Madagascar, I'm finally back home in Hamburg! For now I had to move back into my old room at my mom's place - you know, travelling is expensive ;) That means I won't be able to host anyone, but I'll have a lot of free time until university starts in April, so I'm very keen on meeting up!
I think beside of all that I'm an open minded person, who is always curious to discover new stuff. I love adventures and when I travel, I like challenging experiences.
Even if I ususally prefer to travel on my own, one of the last trips I did, was together with my dad. We went to Ireland for two weeks and just had a great time, with a lot of hiking through amazing landscapes. I'm currently thinking about moving permanently to Galway.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm mostly listening to different kinds of rock music and to older songs (like the ones my dad always loved and I hated, when I was younger).
One if my favorite songs is Wild World from Cat Stevens, which is kind of funny, because I am definitely not scared of the wild world and I really think you CAN "get by just upon a smile" ;) one of my favorite bands is 'The Subways'. I just saw them live on stage last summer and I literally cried, when they entered the stage. I also really like 'Die Antwoord', ''Millencolin', '3 Doors Down', 'Courtney Barnett' and 'Christy Moore'.
I really like horror movies and weird French movies, unfortunately I still need subtitles to completely understand them.
Im a big fan of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, but the movie I've watched the most times is still Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
I really can't decide which book I like the most, there are so many and it's always the same: When I finished one I usually think I'll never find a book, which is as good as the one I've just read, but apparently I do find them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I already traveled to each continent (except Antarctica, but it's on my bucket list!), even if my family told me I can't, because I don't have enough money and it's to dangerous, but luckily I didn't let them convince me.
