About Me

I had this belief for the longest time that once you became an "adult," you have life figured out. Now that I am one, it's been a rude awakening! No one tells you that once you're a grown person, you need to continue taking care of yourself - that's how I got caught up in a cycle of not putting myself first. So here I am, still figuring it out, but finding out that learning how to love yourself first is the key to unlocking the rest of your life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of getting to know someone who lives in the area. I've met some pretty cool people on Couchsurfing so far, and I'm always looking to hear about others' experiences! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a Potterhead and totally love J.K. Rowling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took the Arizona bar exam in July 2015, and found out in October that I didn't pass by two points. I cried. A lot. Then, I shoveled myself off the floor, and got right back into study mode for the February 2016 exam. And here I am. I'm still alive, and my life has truly been better because I experienced my greatest fear of failure. And guess what? I passed!! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learned that over-planning can be my greatest downfall. Taking action is the greatest teacher of all. Failing forward and learning through experience is the best way to get started on anything!

What I Can Share with Hosts
