About Me

CURRENT MISSION

carpe diem. carpe noctum. carpe vita.

ABOUT ME

First of all, yes I live in a small town called New Roads. It is close to larger cities and a perfect place to rest up, enjoy being next to a lake, and take in many old antebellum houses and plantations. I work in Baton Rouge everyday and can provide transportation. Also, I'm always up for a New Orleans trip. With that being said, here's all about me:

I am a laid back person who loves to meet new people and show them the little things that they would normally miss as a regular tourist. During my travels, I've found that culture is far more interesting than seeing landmarks in big cities. This is why I live in a small town with plenty of character, but it's also a short drive to larger cities.

My hobbies are running, cooking, writing for a small local newspaper, and whatever new interest I get stuck on. Also, I live next to a lake, so I love to jet ski and kayak.

Although I really like to party and am always up for having a great time, I also enjoy a laid back evening grilling, listening to music and drinking wine. I don't do drugs or engage in any illegal activity (I practice law for a living, so that wouldn't be smart).

I am currently in a serious, long-term relationship. My boyfriend and I work well together because we have the similar personality and love to show others Southern hospitality. We've already had some experience showing travelers around our area, and it was a blast.

PHILOSOPHY

Be a traveler, not a tourist.
