ABOUT ME

I like to think of my identity as something that is constantly evolving. I've been many things, depending on the circunstances and the people. Now I'm trying to find my true self in every thing I do, in everything I find.

Many years ago I had a very difficult time in my life, and from that moment I learned to walk the path of many alternatives to this hectic world that sometimes drives us crazy (not the kind of healthy crazy, though). I feel life very deeply and I like sensitive and open-minded people.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that there's beauty in every soul/mind or whatever makes our flesh and bones alive. I feel that it's very important (if not the most) to find gratefulness inside, and to be able to humbly accept that we are human and not perfect. I believe compassion is the greatest form of love and by nourishing this love we grow in wisdom and happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it is a wonderful opportunity to make our travels experiences more about connecting, sharing and practicing kindness, and less about consumerism.

Interests

I'm mad at cinema and TV series. That's one of the reasons I chosed audiovisual communication as my major, and I love it, although I'm not sure yet what I would love to do for a living (I'm at the 20's crisis!!). I don't think I could live in a world without music (who could?), and if I were rich I would spend a good amount of my money on broadway shows! and of course on travelling! Recently I've been doing my firsts attemps as a photographer and I'm eager to improve, so if you host me, me and my canon will try to make some decent pictures for you!

Music, Movies, and Books

I feel as if I was a different person now, and it's really funny for me to read the things I wrote when I was studying Film and Media at the University.
To be honest, I don't see a lot of movies and tv series lately, I did that a lot throughout my adolescence, and first youth. Nowadays I'm much more fascinated by the movies in our heads.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It sometimes happen to me that I feel amazed by something I'm living or seing but it gets boring when I try to explain it. I guess that's because is on the little things where I find most of the joy, and little things may not be the greatest stories to tell, yet I believe that they are the best ones to live.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a massage therapist so I'm more than happy to do that anytime! I also love singing, not that I'm that super pro, but they say I have a nice voice (also doing my first steps with the guitar and the piano,... very amateur, but love it!)

To be honest, I'm not the best cook, but I can bake with lots of love haha

I can also promise that I will try my best to be kind, respectful and of course I will be pleased to share some experiences in the city if you feel like it.
