I´m trying to live as if it matters.

PHILOSOPHY

This is something I can only discuss face to face.
I have no readymade philosphy, no religion, or other claim. I think I know or understand things, and then again, they change.
I like to know what people think, but I am not an Internet person. I feel the online community is a good thing, but we should not forget that it´s still better to meet in real life. Nothing beats that!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really love the idea of couchsurfing. I haven´t had as much opportunity as I would have liked to couchsurf- too little holidays :-( but the five times I did couchsurf were fantastic and made me believe once again that anything is possible in this world and each and everybody can makes a difference- a HUGE difference!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was very exciting. I was with a friend in the USA, and we had no place to stay. I remembered couchsurfing (not being a member yet!) and in the short span of only 2 hours we had not only created an account but had also already assembled at least 20 very friendly calls of people wanting to host us. I was happily overwhelmed by the couchsurfing community´s friendliness and generosity.

I love fiction books set in history
I love suspense and thrillers, but only if they´re not gory (I hate that)
I love guitar, mandoline, and harp
and all kinds of music
the only kind i don´t like is too artificial or too hectic - but almost every type of music has its merits, even styles that i wouldn´t usually like
I like movies a lot. Love the movie theater, sadly, I hardly ever go!
