About Me

CURRENT MISSION

play outside more, improvise

ABOUT ME

I am a freelance artist living in Brooklyn, the city of my dreams!

While I love Brooklyn, being in nature and traveling are both important parts of my life, so I escape the city quite frequently.

Some of my favorite things: sharing a home-cooked meal with friends, going to the movies or projection movie nights at home, camping, beach and park picnics, The Brooklyn Flea, a good rooftop party, The World Cup, playing drums (badly), reading on trains, a solid dj set with crazy dancing.

PHILOSOPHY

Feel things, learn, be compassionate and brave.
The dream is flexible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently live with room mates, but will soon have a place to call my own, where I'd like to be able to host and share my knowledge of Brooklyn and Manhattan, where I've lived for 7 years! I am going to be doing a lot of traveling this year as well, so I'd like Couchsurfing to be a way for me to meet people and learn about non-touristy things in the places I visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always been a couchsurfer of sorts, before I even knew about the website! I stayed with friends of friends in Bombay when I was 15, with friends of my neighbors in France when I was 16, lovely people I met traveling in Germany when I was 19, and then actually using the Couchsurfing webiste in Spain and Morocco when I was 21. My craziest experience was in Bahlil, Morocco, where I stayed with Hassan, a wonderful man who lived in a hillside cave with his family! I never would have had access to that kind of experience without Couchsurfing.
