About Me

CURRENT MISSION

sucking your soul in your sleep and moving it onto paper in words.

ABOUT ME

I'm a writer and student based in Tempe, AZ. Currently studying Journalism at the Cronkite ASU while attempting to figure out what my death will be. I just want to create great stories.

PHILOSOPHY

"Be excellent to each other."
Consume less and experience more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted more than I've traveled, but I would like to have a good balance between the two. Living in New York was advantageous to hosting; everyone wants to visit NYC at some point.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted my first surfer December 2011 and it was an experience I'll never forget. Made an amazing friend and connection that wouldn't have been possible otherwise. Met a great group of CS'ers in Tucson, Arizona in May 2010 at a local meet. I've traveled a bit through CS but would like to do it more often.

Interests

Skateboarding fast, riding bikes, playing football, reading literature, writing poems & short stories, dancing, watching movies, spewing nonsense, exploring the city, rocking out at gnarly shows. The little things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone skydiving once in Arizona. For a few minutes you're just floating down towards earth and you feel a strange connection with the planet. You feel it's immense power and beauty. You see the landscape for miles and appreciate it's size and then learn your size too. You might be small compared to the planet, but everyone counts.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - I've been using computers since I was 6 and worked as an electrical technician so I know a thing or two about electronics. I can also fix bicycles. I have some knowledge in football and sports. I sometimes study up on military history so I might have something to share about that. I've been vegan for 3 years and can teach you about how veganism has changed my life.
Learn - I would like to learn a few languages. First, perfect my grasp of Spanish.
