About Me

CURRENT MISSION

do and see EVERYTHIIIIIIIING!!

ABOUT ME

I think my friends would say I talk loudly and a lot but I think I will describe myself as fun, happy, outgoing person-I'm sure everyone says that, but it's a good start. I always try to have a smile on my face as it uses up less energy than a frown! :D I love laughing, comedy, eating, cooking, watching films, I heart skiing and want to try more extreme(-ish) sports on my travels. I love trying and learning new things, and meeting new, interesting people. My year abroad in France has really opened my eyes to this whole world that is at my fingertips and I can't wait to experience it all!

I am about to embark on an adventure to Thailand for the month of June with my sister, Laura, I am incredibly excited and hope to be able to meet some fellow couchsurfers there.

PHILOSOPHY

Chill out, don't sweat the small stuff, if death isn't an immediate consequence of something then you probably shouldn't stress out about it too much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf couches and when I have a more permanent base I can let people surf my couch. I am also more than free for a coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couchsurfing during an interrail trip round Europe, have met some very cool people...love it!

I love the ethos of couchsurfing, of being welcomed into the homes of strangers who soon become friends. I love being able to see the places I visit from a different perspective not just the tourist viewpoint!

Interests

International Relations-I study this at university, reading about lots of different peoples perceptions of the world and how to make a difference.
Skiing-the feeling of skiing down a mountain on a fresh clear day is like no other!
Travelling-I want to travel EVERYWHERE, discover lots of different cultures!
Positive Thinking-If you always think positively and act positively nothing can be otherwise!
Comedy-I love a good comedy show that just makes you roll on the floor laughing!

Music, Movies, and Books

Kings of Leon, Mumford and Sons, Laura Marling...generally all music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I skiied a black off piste run in Colorado, it was very scary and I fell over a lot but it was AMAZING!!

Flying off a massive ski jump on a rubber ring!

Surviving a mugging attempt in Barcelona with all my valuables in tact!

White water rafting in Austria.

Teach, Learn, Share

Oooooh, I need to think more about what I could teach someone!
I speak english and french (although not at the same level) but I could help you out with that!
I love cooking-or I love eating-i would like to learn how to cook all sorts of different foods!
I learned how to play smelly cat on the guitar last week, I could also teach you that?
