Overview
About Me
I am a Belgian, born and raised in Ghent, who has been travelling around the world for the past 2 years. I am open minded guy with a nose for curiosity so I already excuse myself if I have a million questions about everything and nothing.
I like local foods and brews, movies, hiking, rawness of nature, spotting wildlife (and learning about it), diving, never-ending talks and anything that will deliver a thrill. Ow yes and I adore dogs!!
I am also starting out with photography so more than welcome to teach me anything you know!
If you wonder why I haven’t hosted or been hosted yet, read my profile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As you may observe I am quite the newbie on the Couch. So far I have never hosted because I couldn’t accommodate people in any way. Since my travels I have used CS to hang out with people and go to CS events.
So along the way I have met some great CS communities and met some awesome people, just didn’t always bother to look for accommodations.
Which I will be trying to do more and more frequently now, so we will see how this works out.
Nonetheless I love the CS community a lot for its great way of meeting people and sharing the things you love with eachother. I hope to also host in the near future and meet some more of you lovely people!

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
I will never say no to some good Techno, House or Deep House, but you can also catch me listening some Indie Rock, classics from the 70’s and 80’s. I adore jazz music, so if you can take me to your favorite jazzbar that’s a winner. I can’t really list names because I never remember them.
MOVIES
Any Wes Anderson and Taika Waititi movie, old James Bond movies and next to that I love the ‘Before’-trilogy and the movie The Dreamers
BOOKS
Ok... honestly I haven’t read that much lately but my favorite book I read this year is ‘Tracks’. What an inspiring story! Recently bought an e-reader so reading again.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Starting my trip around the world
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - Anything to do with cocktails
Learn - Languages, your favorite (local) dish and photography
Share - Laughs, food and stories
What I Can Share with Hosts
It all depends on what you prefer. I can share with many travel stories and ideas, make you some nice cocktails, make some awesome breakfast (when it comes to cooking I am best at that) and I also am very savvy when it comes to movies.
When it comes to sharing it really depends on the host I think and what we have in common.
