About Me
CURRENT MISSION
There are no rules to this thing!
ABOUT ME
I'm 35 yrs old, born and raised in Arizona; mostly in the Phoenix and Glendale areas. I spent about five and a half years in the US Navy after I got outta high school, during which time I lived in San Diego, CA, Everett, WA, and Meridian, MS. I went back to AZ to finish school after getting out and I graduated in April of 2009 from the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, AZ with a BA in Multimedia/Digital Video. After college I lived in Burbank, North Hollywood, and Ventura CA for a number of years. In 2013 I reenlisted the USN. I'm currently on sea duty so not always in San Diego where I do have a small one bedroom in beautiful Tierrasanta, but, if I am around more than happy to host/connect with fellow couchsurfers!
PHILOSOPHY
Just enjoy the show!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted, surfed, met up with and made some wonderful friends from all over through CS.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've couchsurfed in Bend OR & Las Vegas NV, San Francisco CA, and Oakland CA (twice), Orlando, FL, Bellingham, WA and Mammoth Lakes CA. All of my couchsurfing experiences have been very special to me. I love to travel and CS makes traveling such a more personal experience. Meeting and making new friends in a town that I'm traveling to is such an amazing addition to any get away! I haven't hosted much but when I have I've thoroughly enjoyed that experience as well. I've also met some really great people in my area via the CS community. All and all CS has enhanced my life both at home and when traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge Jim Carrey fan, but the aside from his movies some of my favs are the Kill Bill's, American History X, The Boondock Saints, Salton Sea, I Am Legand, SLC Punk!, Spun, The Simpsons Movie, Toy Story (ALL OF THEM!), Half Baked, Clerks...I could go on, and on, and on...but I think you get the gist. ;-)
When it comes to music I listen to mostly rock these days, but my favorite music genres are punk, ska, and skapunk. My all-time favorite band is The Mighty Mighty Bosstones! Just below the Bosstones would definitely be Less Than Jake, followed by MxPx, Pennywise, Rancid, Social D, Bad Religion, RHCP, and Everclear.
As far as books go I enjoy reading self-improvement book and science fiction. I'm a lifetime student, always trying to better understand myself, others, and the world we live in so a good self-improvement book will always keep my attention. And let's face it science fiction literature just rocks! However, my favorite book, The Count of Monte Cristo, is not from either of those genres...if you haven't read it DO IT!!! :-D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think I've seen and done a pretty crazy array of things in my life thus far. I've got a wealth of crazy stories thanks to early years on active duty in the US Navy, which was followed by three years of college during which I delivered pizzas in South Phoenix...the good, bad and ugly that I experienced living in Burbank and North Hollywood for seven years, and last but certainly not least the ride since reenlisting has probably been the wildest of them all!
