Overview
About Me
My name is Juliana. I'm from Colombia but I live in Germany since 2012. First in Berlin for 8 years and since last summer Im enjoying the amazing city Hamburg. I moved to Germany only to take one year off and travel but at the end I decided to stayed longer and here I am!
Thats mean im someone focus on new challenges and always happy to learn new places and new people as well.
Im working as Cost Manager for a consulting company but my life is not just numbers... I am a lover of design, photography, contemporary art, so well of all the arts in general!I love walking the cities, going to the less touristic places but the most authentic, which are usually the most beautiful. For this reason I really like to meet people when I travel who can give me tips and show me new places.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first experience was in 2012 when I came to live in Europe. I was hosted in Barcelona by Noel, who today I consider one of my greatest friends in life. I had the opportunity after exchanging apartments with a Parisian and it was an equally good and funny experience! As well to be hosted in Italia and Portugal.
After arriving in Germany I started to work and well... to be honest I don't use this way of traveling anymore (which seems fantastic to me) I would love to take it up again!
Interests
As I have already said, I really like to travel... especially traveling alone. I think that traveling alone you live the places you know in a more thoughtful and a little more "poetic" way.
I am a food addict so my travels always include discovering good local restaurants and cafes.
I also really like exhibitions and museums. I always try to make them part of my trips.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like romantic, funny or suspenseful movies. Art and photography books, but also novels. When it comes to music, I'm a bit of a mix of everything :) I like Latin music, but at the same time I like old rock and also instrumental music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Start from scratch... (more than once) . Get out of the comfort zone and do something new…and then look back and be happy to see that you did it! It's one of the most rewarding things I've ever experienced.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Spanish :) how to make the best pancakes ever and salsa!
I would like to learn about the culture of the place I visit ...and for this nothing better than someone from the place, wanting to show it to me :)
Sharing experiences, a good joke, travel tips, tastes... well, there is always something to share :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I really like Latin American cuisine, salsa dancing, and speaking Spanish :) if someone likes Latin... I'm the best teacher!
As well I love to know about hobbies, favorite recipes, musical tastes, travel experiences etc.
