About Me

Hi there! I'm a 22-year-old traveler currently residing in Sydney, soaking in the vibrant energy of this city for the past 6 months. Hailing from a small town in Brazil, Australia marks my very first adventure beyond my homeland, and it's been an exhilarating journey of discovery ever since. Exploring numerous corners of Sydney, I've developed a profound appreciation for its diversity and culture.

My passion for travel extends beyond mere sightseeing; I thrive on immersing myself in new environments, trying diverse cuisines, and delving into the rich tapestry of different cultures. It's been a delightful revelation to realize how much joy I find in learning about other countries and their customs.

One of the things I miss dearly from home is my beloved dog. Dogs hold a special place in my heart, and while I adore the experiences Sydney offers, nothing quite compares to the wagging tail and unconditional love of my furry friend back in Brazil.

If you're up for sharing stories, exploring the city, or simply hanging out with a fellow dog lover, I'd love to connect during my stay in Sydney!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I stumbled upon Couchsurfing recently, intrigued by its concept of connecting travelers with locals right here in Sydney. .I believe that every individual has a unique tale to tell, and I'm eager to listen and learn from the perspectives of Sydney's residents. I'm enthusiastic about forging genuine connections and fostering meaningful friendships.

Moreover, as I continue my journey in Sydney, I'm also on the lookout for a temporary place to call home. Couchsurfing presents an ideal platform not only to find accommodation but also to cultivate genuine connections with hospitable locals.

If you're open to welcoming a curious traveler into your home and sharing a slice of Sydney life, I'd be thrilled to connect and explore the possibilities together!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is such a dynamic part of my life, and while it's tough to pick just one favorite, I'm currently vibing to 'Saturn' by SZA. Its soulful melodies and introspective lyrics speak to me on a deep level.
As for movies, I must confess I don't have a singular favorite. I appreciate a wide range of genres and enjoy exploring diverse cinematic experiences.
Books, however, hold a special place in my heart. Although my busy schedule lately has limited my reading time, one that has left a lasting impression on me is 'Torto Arado' by Itamar Vieira Junior. Its rich narrative and compelling characters captivated me from start to finish, reminding me of the power of storytelling to transport us to different worlds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most enriching experiences I've had was embarking on a journey of over 15,000 kilometers to immerse myself in learning English and explore one of the most breathtaking cities in the world

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm eager to engage in the spirit of teaching, learning, and sharing within the Couchsurfing community. I'm fluent in Portuguese and would be delighted to offer lessons to anyone interested in learning this beautiful language. Additionally, I have a passion for demystifying the inner workings of computer programs, and while I'm still learning myself, I'm more than happy to share what I know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a woman who travels solo, I understand the unique challenges and rewards that come with exploring the world independently. I'm excited to share my experiences and insights from navigating Sydney and venturing into the unknown. Together, let's embark on a journey of mutual learning, growth, and connection!
