About Me
Very energetic and absolutely ecstatic about my trip to Spain! I'm going to school to become a Geological Engineer and I have a huge passion for energy and sustainability! I currently work at a math tutor center as an instructor helping kids from ages 5-18 learn and enjoy math! I am very into geology, chemistry,
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My best friend and I are traveling to Spain to explore! When I first thought about traveling to another country I realized I don't want to necessarily see the rest of the world, I want to live in it. By that I mean I mean I don't want to do all the touristy stuff I want to live among the people that live there and experience the culture. Couch surfing is an amazing way to be able to achieve this dream of "living like a local" and save a bit of cash at the same time!
Interests
I love anything that works my body or mind, I love conversation that provokes me to stop and think and explore possibilities. I enjoy figuring out how or why things work. I love meeting new people and seeing different lives. Being able to understand and appreciate people's differences and quirks is extremely important to me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all types of music except for metal and country. I particularly enjoy rap but I also like some pop, edm, R&B and alternative music.
As for movies I love the Harry Potter movies and then very girly movies like Legally Blonde and the Holiday. I saw Interstellar recently and that one kind of changed my perspective on life and made me think a lot.
I don't have a favorite book but I enjoy reading dark or suspenseful books as well as crime non fictions or historical fictions. Oh and the Harry Potter Series!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This one kind of stumped me because I can't really think of something crazy or exciting that's brag-worthy but I can think of something that I've done that was amazing and changed my life:
My first year in college when my major was biology I couldn't get into a biology class and it was too late to get into another but I managed to get myself into a dinosaur class--but wait...there's more. Because I was in that class I was able to go on this 5-day geology field course along the Sierra Nevadas in California. I went on it because I thought it would be a fun camping trip but it ended up changing my life. I fell in love with the Earth and all its structures and mechanisms. Before this trip I thought of mountains as pointless and boring and now I see them as beautiful and fascinating! My perspective on the world had changed forever and I'm happy to say I am now on my way to becoming a Geological Engineering in the hopes of leaving this planet better than when I arrived.
