About Me

Hi there :) I am French and Dutch, currently going back to university to study literature but spend some time working in a bookshop.
No surprise, I am always travelling with a book and my notebook, just in case there is a nice place to sit for a few minutes. I like to go out with people but also to do something quiet ( i can spend hours in a garden ! ).
I love to cook for people and spend a nice time together !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is just the begin on couchsurfing for me but I believe that it is a simple and very human way to travel, discover people and welcome people !

Interests

I really enjoy reading, spending hours outside ( read outside is also possible and that's maybe the best ), visiting exhibitions, making stuff myself ( my mother is an artisan ), I love "costumed" events ( that's the best way to party ! ) and I really enjoy going out for a good beer with friends or meet people there !

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very used to listen to Simon&Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen, Morcheeba, Jack Johnson, Tracy Chapman, Prince, Jordi Savall, The Corss, Adele.. and I am very open to new discoveries !

My favorite books are : Pride and Prejudice, J.Austen; Tobie Lolness, T. de Fombelle; The Hobbit, JRR Tolkien; I love Rilke's poems and Christie's short stories, and more and more..

I must admit that I know every word of Bridget Jones' diairy... Il postello by Radford, Finding Nerverland, Ida, Marie Antoinette by Sophia Copola...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just a few months ago I went to Tadoussac in Québec. The place was almost amazing but the most amazing was to see a whale and other maritime creatures in the Fjord, those pictures are printed into my memory for ever !

Teach, Learn, Share

The best way to live a good life is to share it with people. That's the reason why I am always in to help if it's possible. From others you can learn to see life and world differently, new life's philosphies !
