About Me
I'm a student looking to see more of the world -- especially as I continue to study how cities grow and function.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling without meeting and talking to locals leads to a superficial experience -- I'm on couchsurfing in order to search out a more authentic and profound experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
You can usually find me at the local art house cinema or watching old classics. As for books, my interest is broad, although at the moment my to-read list consists of Italian authors and several non-fiction books about how the city functions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This past summer, I spent several months camping with young children who never had the opportunity to interact with the greater outdoors. This coming summer, I'll be working in the national park system in the United States with teenagers looking to work on team building and leadership skills.
Teach, Learn, Share
A couple years ago I started knitting, and now I look for any opportunity to share my knowledge! I'm currently learning how to play the ukulele and always looking for new artist and song recommendations.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a bright and upbeat personality as well as keen interest in storytelling. I'm excited to hear (and share!) stories of travels and past blunders. I'm also an avid reader looking forward to swapping author names and book titles!
