About Me

I am an easy-going active Spaniard who loves traveling, meeting and talking to people from different countries and backgrounds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of hosting people and sharing their experiences in life. I consider this way a more personal and enriching one than just a hotel/hostel and love the idea of a friendly world where "my place is your place".

Interests

Dancing, talking, chocolate of all kinds (with the exception of the one with chili!), reading, hearing people's stories and anecdotes, finding out about the history of a place before visiting it, unexpected details, sunny days, moony nights! Lately I am a lot into yoga, animals, plants, trekking, mountain sports... and I could keep writing and writing, since what makes something interesting is the attitude of the recipient and mine is inquisitive (and a bit clumsy) by nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music...? So many different types, from Muse, R.E.M., to salsa, bachata, techno, reggae, classical music, indie rock... Lately a lot of Brazilian music..! What is life without music? It just depends on the moment and the context (and that last comment goes for films too!).

Books - usually historical novels that mix facts and fiction, and books that actually get into your head (call them thrillers, psychological stories, etc).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing that comes to my mind is from last February: I went to a Hindu wedding in India and it was such an experience!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit of Latin dances and flamenco!
I love to learn few words of the local language, traditions and local stories of the place I'm visiting.
I can share good moments and the recipe of a good Spanish omelette.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, England, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Morocco, Northern Ireland, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, United States, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In
