About Me
hey there! i'm julia and my friend tove and i are backpacking through australia atm. we are here on a working holiday visa and right now just looking for some place to stay. we see ourselves as two positive, easy going and open minded girls. we love meeting and hanging out with new people. we haven't necessarily used couch surfing before but we are used to staying with other people at their places from when we backpacked in south america together. we are happy to help out with any kind of cooking or cleaning or other chores you could need help with. just let us know!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
travelling through australia a the moment and from
previous experience the best and most fun way to get to know a country and its people is to stay with the local peeps!
Interests
apart from travelling and meeting new people and places i love horseback riding. i've practiced it many years. it's been a while since last now but always miss hanging out at the stables. apart from that i enjoy very much hanging out with my friends and going out for drinks or finding some fun activity to do or just chilling at home cooking diner together.

favourite movies is a tricky one but i'm i sucker for either comedies, thrillers or documentary based series.
unfortunately haven't read a book in many years so kindly open for any recommendations!

Teach, Learn, Share
i'm happy to teach you anything you would like to know about sweden and our culture there. i can cook you typical swedish meetballs, teach you some useful swedish or drink some of our famous and very swedish "absolut vodka" haha. i'm also happy to give you advice on other countries i've visited and what i thought of those. did a backpacking trip through south america last spring if that would interest you to hear about! maybe we could even practice our spanish together
if you'd be up for it!
