About Me
Hey, I'm Julia!
I finished my degree in Neuropsychology in the Netherlands last year. However, I had the urge to be a nanny in a foreign country again. That’s why I’m currently in Seoul.
I like trying out new things, sports, lying in the sun, concerts, knitting, drawing, city days, movies and being creative. I’m vegan in case you want to cook with me. I used to say you can eat steaks with my roommates, but I don’t have roommates anymore.
Otherwise I love great conversations and red wine. But I'm not an expert in red wine, I just buy the prettiest label. I'm also a good listener and I get excited about things pretty easily.
During travels, I like to be spontaneous. Mostly I like to explore cities by foot and try out nice cafés and food, sometimes visit museums and just soak in the atmosphere of the city. The rest always happens spontaneously!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I made my first couchsurf experience in the USA. While working as a nanny, I traveled to quite a few places and met amazing people! Since then, I'm all about couchsurfing
I would say, a lot of travel stories begin with: "I was couchsurfing and my host was just amazing...!"
