My name is Julia and I am living in Pennsylvania since August '16.

To me, couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get to know different people in different parts of the world. Staying at other places or hosting people introduces me to different cultures, languages, lifestyles and personalities.
It is also cool to be or to have a local host who shows/recommends not only the main tourist attractions but more the "inside tips".

This winter, I have been to the Bahamas, which was very amazing. I also liked scuba-diving in Croatia.
I also enjoyed the Oktoberfest in my home country.
