About Me
Hello! I'm a true Wisconsinite (I love cheese, the Packers, being in the snow, and am probably too friendly).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To truly learn about a culture, you have to get to know the people! Traveling in itself is wonderful, but I'm looking for a more personal experience than what a hotel can provide!

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy all music except for American Country music. Some of my favorite artists include: Misterwives, Bon Iver, David Gray, Glen Hansard, Ray LaMontagne, Lake Street Dive, the Beatles, Arcade Fire, the Avett Brothers, Mumford and Sons, Frank Turner, The Killers, Death Cab for Cutie, Earth Wind and Fire, Fleet Foxes, Frank Sinatra, Jason Mraz...and many more! I also love classical music - some of my favorite composers are Mahler, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Beethoven, Chopin, and many, many more.
As for books, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan! Perks of Being a Wallflower, Enders Game, Devil in the White City, anything Agatha Christie, anything Jane Austen, Game of Thrones, The Hobbit...and much more!
Movies/TV shows...I can't even get started on this one. Everything except for gross Horror.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favorite experiences was teaching students with visual impairments/learning disabilities at a school outside of Windhoek, Namibia. It was definitely the most rewarding and memorable three weeks of my life thus far!
