About Me
Hey, I am Julia. Like my husband Felix, I just finished my PhD in Biology in Germany. Now, we are taking some time off to explore the world and leave our everyday life behind for a bit.
We are both uncomplicated, open-minded people who love nature, trying new things and making new experiences. We love hiking, camping, roadbiking, crosscountry-skiing and being active outdoors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Staying with fellow travelers in hostels can be fun, but above all, we would like to get in contact with everyday local life, meet great new people and most importantly, make new friends. For that, couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity for us. Of course, we really love to welcome our new friends in Germany in the future :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every trip comes with so many great experiences that it is hard for me to pick. Climbing Triglav in Slovenia or Galdhoppigen in Norway was certainly something we will never forget. Also our honeymoon in a small cabin without running water or electricity but with icy outdoor showers right from the well and fresh food from the nearby farm in Austria was a unique and wonderful experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We like to share our stories, recommendation for traveling Europe, and just some fun time together ;)
At the moment, we cannot accept any guests because we won`t be home for a while. However, whenever you have questions about traveling in Germany, feel free to contact me any time :)
