To enjoy one year of travelling around the world with all its adventures and diversity. I would like to prove myself that I can handle various challenges and I have to learn to "jump over my own shadow".

ABOUT ME

I am a curious and open girl from Austria who is always suffering from wanderlust. I am 28 years young, just finished my studies and at the moment I'm travelling the world for one year...
Together with my boyfriend I started my journey in September 2014 in New York before we headed through Canada for one month. We had spent almost 5 months in Middle and South America before we flew to Australia and New Zealand. After that we are going to travel Southeast Asia.

As I just started travelling in September 2014 I only know Couchsurfing since some months. For the upcoming year I unfortunately can't host myself but when I will return home to Austria I would love to start hosting aswell.

Interests

Meeting new and interesting people, speaking different languages, exploring new places and having the time of my life!
I am using couchsurfing not only to find cheap accomodations. I like the idea about getting to know new people, different households and talking about diverse topics. For me it enables to seek variety - when it comes to cities and to people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking 5 days, 78 km, through Peru to finally see the Machu Picchu.

A 3 days tour through the salt desert in Bolivia.

Hitch-hiking through Canada and New Zealand

Getting on a plane to travel for one year around the world ;-)

Teach, Learn, Share

Hope to speak Spanish fluently after my journey through Middle and South America. (Never stop hoping ;-))
