About Me
Hey couchsurfers, Julia (Hoo-lia) here! I was born and raised in Malaga but traded the Spanish sun for the Scottish rain when I moved to Edinburgh for uni 3 years ago. Like pretty much everyone here, I'm an outgoing and open-minded person, always keen to try out new stuff and meet new people. Sports are one of my main interests- been getting into rugby, indoor climbing and wakeboarding recently- along with hanging out with friends and travelling. The definition of jack of all trades but master of none.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
1. To meet cool, like-minded (or not) people from all over the world
2. There's no better way of getting to know a place and its culture than through a local! This goes both ways: whether I'm looking to stay with you or vice versa.
3. To save some precious dolla which could be better spent on beer

Music, Movies, and Books
Went through a rock phase lasting a couple of years but will now listen to pretty much anything except reggaeton and charts music. Big fan of Jungle, Glass Animals, Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac.
Will watch anything with a good dialogue. Watched The Kissing Booth the other day and lost some neurones. Some good films/tv shows: The Truman Show, Whiplash, Silence of the Lambs, Game of Thrones, Shameless.
Mostly into fiction but spanning many genres. Currently reading the Neapolitan Novels. Roald Dahl is my hero.
