About Me

Hello, I'm Julia,
I lived in Switzerland my whole life but I travel a lot since I'm a little child with my family, and now alone or with friends or my boyfriend. Travelling is my passion. This is what I want to do during my whole life.
I like going out, meet people, visiting the city, museums, or seeing beautiful landscapes.
I'm an open minded person, i'm interested in almost everything: Art, design, sport, science, history (even if I'm bad at it)...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to know new people when I travel. To know people who live in the place that I visit and to discover it better that I would never do by my own. Sometimes I want to travel but no one can come with me, so maybe with couchsurfing I would dare to travel alone :)

Unfortunately I live with a flatmate who is not interested in couchsurfing and doesn't want unknown people at home. that's why I do not host people except people who hosted me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Five weeks in Seoul doing an internship in a little studio of miniprint. I planned to go alone, finally I asked the guy I was seeing (now my boyfriend) to come 2 weeks with me. He never been outside of Europe and he did it! Seoul was incredible, people who I worked with were adorable. I loved that.
Two weeks roadtrip in Iceland. I saw a wale jumping next to our boat during 30 minutes. Seals in an ice lake, walked in volcanos..
Two weeks road trip in Namibia, saw a wild giraffe drinking, or zebras and many other animals.
New year in Thailand in a small non touristic island and met an habitant who showed me the island like I've never seen it.

Teach, Learn, Share

The most important thing is to share our life experience and point of views from our different cultures.
I can try to teach you what I know about art and design and how to appreciate it. I can teach you French . Or maybe some recipes. And even basic boxing techniques :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A simple moment at home, with beers or wine or in a bar outside. We can even go at restaurant (I offer of course).
Why not going out together.
Most important is to share joy and learn from different cultures.
