Overview
About Me
I am a recently graduated high school student born and raised in Brasil with a German family. I am currently on a gap year and have been backpacking solo around South America and Europe since I left school in 2015 in order to get to know myself better and find out what I want to study in University afterwards.
So far my idea is to become a teacher, and thats why I attended a 4-week TEFL course (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) in Barcelona in March. Although I could start working as an English teacher now, I decided to take a few more months travelling and experiencing different cultures around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I do enjoy the typical sightseeing, but my main goal is to merge in local cultures and I believe that couch surfing is an opportunity for me to actually get to know and understand different lifestyles instead of just ticking boxes while traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have been playing the piano since I was a child and have always loved erudite music, but also enjoy pop, new age and reggae ton.
I grew up without a television, so I don't watch movies/series frequently, but enjoy a cinema every once in a while or a movie night.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English (since I have attended a 4-week TEFL course) and basic piano skills.
I want to learn about different cultures, including art, philosophy, history and lifestyles in general.
I can share my multicultural background (German family born and raised in Brazil) and my traveling experiences so far.
