Overview
About Me
I am a South African Woman, born and bred in the City of Cape Town. I completed my Honours in Economics and Undergraduate in Economics, English Literature and Economic History from the University of Cape Town in 2018. I love travel and am now taking 9 months exploring this wonderful, strange world before heading off to the University of Oxford to do my masters.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I want to explore places from the inside out! The best place for a home base is a home.
Also, because South African currency doesn't go very far haha.

Music, Movies, and Books
I just finished reading Home Going by Ya Gyasi, a Ghanaain author, and loved it. Also recently loved The Garden of Evening Mists by Tan Twan Eng. My favourite read is probably White Teeth by Zadie Smith.
I loveeee Frank Ocean- the entire Blonde album.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am social and easy going. I lived in a house of 9 people for the duration of my previous degree and learnt how to navigate living environments with other people quite well.
I would love to get to know you over a meal, a drink, a cup of tea or a walk - if you enjoy that.
