Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and connecting with locals is the only way to make that a complete and worthwhile experience. Otherwise you might as well just Google image search a place. A place is its people. Whenever I've ended up staying in people's homes is when I've most connected with a place and a culture.

This is so broad. I'll pick one recent one from each category that I loved. Music: Childish Gambino; Movie: Moonlight; Book: The First Bad Man (Miranda July). I like a lot of things in a lot of categories, but if it's weird or absurdist, then I'm definitely into it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked through a good portion of Central Asia by myself. It was the trip to end all trips. Figuratively. Definitely not literally.

Teach, Learn, Share
