I think that as with Hostelling, couch surfing produces a much more authentic travelling experience than a hotel would. As a very unseasoned and first time solo traveller it would be great to share a meal or have a chat with someone who understands the backpacking experience,

I can’t say I have a favourite anything but I constantly rewatch ghibli movies or anything romantic with a cozy atmosphere. I used to enjoy reading so much but lately I haven’t had time to read much but perhaps something magical, warm and fuzzy- like a hug. I’ve taken a dive into more classical and for surrealist texts but while knowledgeable and eye opening they are, they’re unfortunately not too enjoyable for me.

I can bake? I was working at a bakery this year so I can for sure whip something up. I can also make some Vietnamese food maybe? I’m not too sure where my skills lie but I’ll try my best. Maybe I can help with English, Vietnamese, intermediate French, or beginner Chinese and Korean.
