Overview
About Me
I am a friendly, spontaneous and curious spirit. I enjoy reading; whatever peaks my interest... about people's lives, psychology and spirituality. I'm a day-dreamer, a poet, and a little home chef. I love baking bread and pizza, stews, soups, curries... Heart(y) sort of food. I love being able to feed someone.
I like to hang with the odd balls, the mystics, the DIY folk, the shamans, and the musicians. People that follow the beat of their own drum. It keeps life fresh and interesting! Time to time I must retreat to solitude, however, I need that time to recharge.
I love to draw, mostly portraits or something I call "mind maps", I can show you what I mean by that in person.
Would love to draw a portrait for you in return for a couch to crash on :).
I have come to realize how much I enjoy slow travel. Taking my time with places and people, to really soak up the experience. I'm not a checklist, do-the-most-crazy-stuff kind of gal. I enjoy a nice meal and nice conversation. Maybe some dancing and going to poetry slams or stand up comedy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the concept of this website. It makes me sad how many people don't help each other much anymore. I believe people need people, and if only we would stop isolating ourselves, the world would be a brighter place.
I am currently leaving behind my home and saying goodbye to most of my belongings in Canada, to go explore Europe. I'm jumping into this experience, terrified but with ultimate trust that the universe has my back.
(Poland is my motherland, so I'm not completely unfamiliar with Europe. But there are many parts of it I have not seen yet, and would love for you to show me your favourite spots!)
So yes, I'll need a place to sleep when I go to Spain, Portugal, France(?), Greece, Italy(?), Ireland.... I'll go as far my feet will take me! I don't have a lot of funds. I just have this big heart and curious mind, if you take me in, I will cook for you, massage you, share stories with you, draw you, teach you English if you need...
I'm doing this not just for the sake of travel but also for the sake of finding my tribe. Finding like-minded people and building a community across the globe.
Of course, once I settle down at my own home again, wherever that might be, I will gladly return the favour.
Kindness is priceless... and it goes a long way. I believe in good karma. Pass on this gift, again and again.
