Overview
About Me
Just now I finished my first semester at my university in Greifwald. I am studying Theology and hope that one day, I will be a pastor.
I spent one year in Jiuquan, China where taught English at a chinese school, in this time I learned a lot of Chinese. At the moment I am also studying the Hebrew and soon I will start studying Greek and Latin.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is a fantastic way to discover new countries, cultures and lifestyles. I love to talk to locals, so the "real" people. I don't want to stay in a hotel or hostel just walking around and seeing nothing important.
Interests
My interests are playing Viola since I am 6 years old. That sounds like I would be very good at it, but actually it sounds terrible. But nevertheless I have a lot of fun playing modern. (And sometimes the old ones too)
Furthermore I like sports very much. In Germany I used to train Aikido. I really enjoyed it, and I think I was pretty good. In any case better than at playing Viola.
Additionally I played Volleyball in the local team, but this was like playing Viola. I liked it very much, but every time I was on the field I made a completely mess.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't really have favorite music. It depends on my mood, the time and everything else. At the moment I am really into stuff like worship songs and modern christian music. But I also love all the Disney soundtracks :D
There are a few movies I could watch every time. One is called "Fight Girl". It is a co-production from Turkey, Denmark (and maybe Germany, I am not sure). It's about a Turkish girl called "Aisha" living in Denmark. She is really good at martial arts, but her family doesn't allow her to participate the training. I know, it sounds very typical, but it isn't!
Another movie is called "Pitch Perfect" and I think the most of you know it. It's like "High school Musical", just much better.
I have read a lot of good books but I can not remember their titles. But one author I really like is Simon Beckett.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting Tibet including the Mount Everest.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I could teach you German or how to not play Volleyball.
But I am learning Chinese at the moment and I would like to talk with people in Chinese. Furthermore I think my English isn't as good as I want it to be, so if you speak English that's also very good.
And even you don't speak English, German or Chinese you could teach me how to say "Hello" in your language.
