Overview
About Me
PLEASE READ HOME SITUATION BEFORE SENDING REQUESTS.
A hitchhiking through life hobo trying to find her place in the world. My itchy feet and greed for exploration add 30+ countries in my backpack. I don’t travel to hit some bucket list and tick off all 200 countries in this lifetime. I travel whenever I want and can, because it’s not about the destination. For me, it’s about about self-exploration and evolution through experiencing life in different surroundings. And getting humble. Over and over again.
I was born in Belarus, but raised on the trips. It gave me a nice mix of open mind and humility, as well as awareness of so-called “third world problems”. Belarus is the North Korea of Eastern Europe, if you didn’t know. Now I live in Poland and literally “buy” my citizenship by paying administrative fees and taxes to the government.
Despite being open minded, I hate generalisations, stereotypes, uninformed opinions, any form of nationalism, discrimination, manipulation, violation of human rights, violence, supremacy, and most of all, entitlement.
Therefore all “entitled” requests end up with decline with no explanation.
FOR HOSTS
I will make you laugh, I will surprise you with my stories, hall you with groceries or household chores. I like cooking, but not obsessed with it (my cooking skills were critically acclaimed not only by my friends, but by my friends moms too). I appreciate comfort and coziness, and usually add up to my hosts’ homes some of my magic and warmth.
If you are a pub quiz lover, invite me for a local gig in your city. I’m competitive but a fun player that always goes till the end, I.e. I can win a bottle of Prosecco with my brains.
Nothing can make me happier than a chance to play with a pet, listen to good music, maybe even dance to it, or share delicious food together. I love everything creative, unusual, quirky and constantly expand the pool of my interests.
Always looking forward to meeting new people and learning new things. I believe that change is the law of life, and one needs to change all the time, to stay oneself.
FOR SURFERS
Currently I live and share everything in my apartment with Claudio, my boyfriend, including Couchsurfing routine.
He will be your host as well - the “good cop” in our couple, the kind one, the better cook of two of us and def the musician that you can jam with if you love music and stay with us. Sending a request for me, you are sending a request to stay with Claudio and Beta (my cat) also.
Claudio’s profile: https://couchsurfing.page.link/U4rkg9sv5saU5SdSA
As a host, I'm quite flexible and sometimes overcaring. YET low maintenance host. It means I might actively engage in couchsurfing you, but I don’t have to and if I don’t want to, I won't (“bad cop”). Providing you with a place to sleep, making sure you are comfy in my place is what I can guarantee. There rest is up to you really. I have been guiding people through Warsaw long enough until it became boring to me to take guests to tourist places. (Couchsurfing syndrome?).
But if you are up to non-touristy stuff like riding bikes in the woods or walking “in da hood” far from tourist attractions - be sure we’ll have a blast. Warsaw is a city for living, therefore every neighbourhood has it’s unique vibe and some hip places. Wanna see Old Town? Fine, but without me.
If I'm not able to host you, I will probably try to help you out in some other way, or meet with you in the city to hangout. BUT I may be late/slow to reply.
BESIDES, I highly value my "me time", comfort and privacy, and the time for the rest - cause I'm working my brains out everyday, having only evening and weekends to wind down. I value comfort and privacy of other people as well - so I'm ok not to hang out with you, or simply let you have your time in Warsaw.
I will expect you to be punctual and respect our home rules, it's relative cleanliness and the fact that we have a cat. I will read your profile before accepting the request, and yeah, I don't trust generic or one sentence requests from people - I would like to know more about you to make sure your stay with me will be really amazing. I always accept the requests written with care and effort, where I see that a person took time to read through my profile and appreciated my time writing it with honesty and humour. Trust me I’m very selective! My intuition wronged me once, and since then I’m twice careful with surfers.
Oh, and I'm still an introvert. INFP from the last screening as I know. And if I get moody or even angry - it means my patience wears thin and you better stay away from me :D
I hope I busted some myths about introverts now. Forewarned is forearmed.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the key to the world are people, and the key to the people is love. Love is the law. I’m on Couchsurfing to explore this law in action, learn more about life through lives of other people, just to get reassured over and over again:
Everything is connected.
Once I started to dig that truth, hosting and surfing stopped being a chore, and became a natural thing to do. Couchsurfing gave me a sense of always having a home somewhere out there in the world that I have never been, because well… the world is our home, and all of us share it… so let’s be generous and respectful to each other and our home.
Couchsurfing is one of few platforms that help unite people of the same mind at the right time and at the right place. I met my love via Couchsurfing, had the most amazing adventures in the most “cliche” or “boring” places and I would gladly repeat them again.Looking forward to more life changing meetings!
I want to make use of my rented apartment and meet new people by hosting them via Couchsurfing. I used to host my friends in Warsaw before, and volunteers for my projects (hey, AIESEC!), as well as friends of my friends and those who needed to stay for one night urgently. So I’m a host by a calling, and giving hospitality is when I feel like home.
Besides I was lucky to be hosted myself, by great hosts whose kindness and hospitality inspired me to give it back to other surfers. Each time the experience was so wonderful, so now I would like to make your stay in Warsaw not less exciting!
Interests
DISCLAIMER: I am a WITCH. Woman In Total Control of Herself. That’s it. Stay at your own risk!
I’m curious about everything and always eager to expand my horizon by practicing new hobbies, going to new places, trying out new foods or listening to new types of music. I’m an “alien” in my own city, and always try to go out to a new place in Warsaw, for the sake of newness thrills.
I’m a professional certified Tarot reader and astrologer in the making. I’m studying Tarot & astrology, numerology, matrix of destiny, human design, palmistry on my own + taking courses, and have my own private practice giving tarot, astrology, numerology readings with applied to life advice with no BS. You can check my IG: @astrotarotwriter and testimonials in highlights there.
Following me on @astrotarotwriter IG increases your chances of getting hosted :D
I read in-person and online, and organise Tarot & Astrology CS events in Warsaw. I always travel with my cards and give readings to anyone who wants, any place, any time. My decks have been to the rooftop of Milano Duomo, temples of Damanhur, and Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, among others. (Talking about high vibration).
If I’m not going out, I’m staying home and reading books - about esoteric sciences, psychology, mythology, philosophy, but also, poetry and novels. Of course, not without self-help books. Sometimes I draw and paint, I love art, and would love to be more consistent with keeping up painting.
I rediscovered my passion for dancing, and now take fusion belly dance classes with amazing Salome Fedas.
I love concerts, music festivals and honestly, in my highest state I need nothing but good music and enough space to dance. Nothing moves me better than good music (without any alcohol and drugs).
Recently, philosophy and spirituality videos have become my main “netflix and chill”. Or trying to be present. Or both lol.
I stopped following “what’s hot” in the world of series, but can watch a good show every now and then. These days I’m watching more anime than shows (I love great classic animes!) and prefer watching movie premieres in little cute cinemas than on Netflix.
Somewhere here we can add learning languages and couchsurfing. Meeting new people is not just a hobby, but what makes me breathe. Hosting & surfing is an ego eradicator not less powerful than kundalini yoga!
From collecting toy animals to taking photos of Hard Rock Cafe relics all over the world, I believe among my interests will be something of yours as well (obv, traveling ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Don’t get me started on music ! I’m what you call a melomaniac with a song lyrics pick for every moment.
I have a vinyl collection at home with some jazz, blues, indie rock, rock classics and psychedelic rock treasures, among occasional pop “must-haves”.
Besides, I love playing guitar (especially when Claudio does it) and signing along, you can always invite me for a music gig and expect excited “Yes!” Jam sessions, jazz gigs, karaoke bars is where I take my guests most often.
I love independent movies, art house, 80-90s classics, prefer dramas to comedies, but any good movie with a good story will grab my attention. I love going to small non-commercialised old school cinemas and luckily I have one in the neighbourhood I can take you too! (Tiny but super cute)
I write more often than I read, but will always enjoy a good book every now and then.
Here's my (not active) blog btw: https://cutitshort.wixsite.com/website?lang=en
Also, any recommendations for a great book, song, movie, record stores and music clubs/spots will be highly appreciated!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saved a Life of my friend’s dear person while he was away
Teach, Learn, Share
I can do a Tarot reading for you
I can do a Matrix of Destiny report for you
I can make your numerological portrait
I can read your natal chart
I can teach you / tell you more about astrology & tarot
I can sketch your portrait
I can share with you my energy ✨
I can teach you a secret draniki recipe, give in how to make delicious lemonade and if you are lucky enough, will let you a secret of my all-time special desert... besides, I can help you with practicing English, can teach you some Russian and Belarusian, Polish, Spanish or Italian, and will looking forward to expanding my more or less knowledge of Spanish, German, Turkish, Japanese and Dutch.
I can teach you how to get cat toys from under the sofa too, if you fancy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’ve got plenty of travel stories to share, most of them you can find relatable or surprising; for the brave ones: I can try to draw your portrait/ a picture or write a small verse (but not a song). I can also share a survival guide for Poland and Belarus if you ever decide to visit these countries.
Besides, as a typical Slav (oh here comes the hateful stereotype :D) expect me coming to your place with a gift (usually of my choice, but intuition haven’t failed me so far).
Also, I can do an astrology / Tarot readings for you or teach you how to do it. Check my IG: @astrotarotwriter
