Overview
About Me
I am an easy going and curious traveler. Although I grew up in Germany I heard the call of the world and left the nest at 21 to live in the UK. Since then I have traveled many countries and hopefully many more to come. The highlights of this lifestyle is definitely meeting the people who then will teach you their customs and cultures and all the new things and philosophies that you learn along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I have experienced an enormous amount of generosity during my travels, which are still continuing, and would like to give back too, once I am back and settled.
Interests
People, our history as human beings, self development, spirituality, yoga, pondering, meditation, opening my mind to things and concepts of life unknown and maybe a little scary. After I've done all that, I love Beer, Music, live shows, hanging out, movies, books, a good laugh, animals and I have recently discovered surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Wow, that really depends on the mood. Generally I love Rock and heavy music but I just came back from Rainbow Serpent Festival and rediscovered my love for house and electronic music. On introverted days I love Erykah Badu, Thievery Corporation and Morcheeba. Movies that make me think, away from the happy ending hollywood cliche. Almovodar and Coen Brothers and recently I discovered the quirky world of Wes Anderson. Books that find me, all across the board. At the moment I am reading Bang your Head, a history of Heavy Metal and my next book which is on its way will be The devine Matrix, about how our perception influences reality.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I woke up in a park one morning and decided to jump into the big unknown. I called my boss and quit my job, called my friend and gave away my room and just hit the road. Best and most mind opening thing ever, although it was extremely scary ..
Teach, Learn, Share
Breathe and look up into the sky. Your mind is as endless as the sky, remember that when your own little micro cosmos feels like too much to handle.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good long conversation about anything, a laid back time and a laugh. Cooking and beering sessions and my big heart.
