About Me

I'm 29 years old, and I've studied Electronics Engineering. I'm currently working in an elevator's company, and also studying Computer Engineering, because it has always been a dream of mine.

I don't smoke, don't drink and love doing sports. I love surfing, snowboarding, skating, or any other sport involving boards, but also love swimming, playing handball or basketball.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Coachsurfing because I grew up travelling abroad and sleeping in Bed and Breakfasts. I loved it, because it was staying in a private house where you shared breakfast with the owners, so it was the best way to get in touch with the real life of the country. But nowadays going to a Bed and Breakfast is just the same as going to a regular hotel, so when I found out about Coachsurfing, I thought to myself: "that's the thing for me!"

Interests

I love sports, learning new things, the technology in general and artificial intelligence in particular.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost any kind of music, I just don't like Chill Out, and love going to the cinema or reading books. I prefer action movies or books, thrillers or sport movies or books, but sometimes, I need a simple comedy to relax and ease my mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple of years ago I started doing a new sport: stand up paddle, which is a special kind of surf, where you are standing up on a thick board and move aroung using a paddle. You can do it for just hanging around, competing in speed races or surfing as with a regular shortboard. I began to go to the beach more and more, and when I decided to compete in the National Championship of that year, I got to be number four both in the racing and the surfing modality, which is very rare, as normally you just specialize in one of them. I was very proud of myself, I never thought I could have got that far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new things, any kind, but also love sharing everything I know. I'm a surf teacher, but also have tought electronics for a few months, and have helped some people develop their websites.
