About Me
Hey couchsurfers! I'm a traveler like most of us here, I was in China until recently (6 years exploring the Asian life to be precise) after a few years in the US and previously Argentina. I am sure meeting any of you we would find the common love for traveling, experiencing different cultures and tastes. I have fallen in love with East Asia, and though I found a second home in Hangzhou, China I have finally taken the leap forward onto Europe, so as you can see... looking for my next "Place" in the world.
I guess I have just come to accept there may be more than one...
I was working for an international organization on Renewable energy and then joined a private company in China that has now agreed to keep me doing remote work... so Europe it is!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To travel and meet fellow couchsurfers, both in my current location as in the next places I want to visit :)
Traveling around I have met so many people that went for the Couchsurfing experience, and it seemed like they made not only contacts, but actual friends who would later on come visit them, so ... I thought why not! I trust I have as much to learn from fellow travelers as they have from my experiences. So... looking forward to it!
Interests
Right now my main motivation for traveling... is finding my third home? since I am a full-fledged Argentinean, and having spent so many years loving the city of Hangzhou China, I am now in Europe looking for my next step *(I must admit, France and Spain so far are fighting it off for top spot in my heart)
That... and dancing kizomba whenever I find the chance
- walking
- eating out
- outdoor activities
- hiking
- bicycle touring
- sky
Music, Movies, and Books
Best music? Arcade Fire, Franz Ferdinanda, Phoenix, Mumford, Swell Season, The Killers, Kongos. Music makes me smile every time :)
African music has now for a few years taken center stage... anythink kizomba, semba, afro beats, all very much love.
Movies? mmm lately I have been watching some Serbian movies because of my friends from Montenegro: I strongly recommend the Who's Singin' Over There? 1980s Yugoslavian film. Priceless.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, let's see. I have just recently finished my Master in China, which I consider a big accomplishment. I have managed to travel during my master program, and great people I have met in the Philippines, Indonesia, and the small villages I have seen in China all make up for the amazing stories I have to share ;)
One of the latest accomplishments was last year's 100km marathon in Guizhou, south of China (managed 60km but oh so proud!)
Teach, Learn, Share
Provided you come over to Hangzhou, with no clue as to Chinese, I can help you out with the basics (I am a foreigner after all hehe) to move around and enjoy your time here. Spanish and English is no problem. But the best thing I have to share is my passion for getting rid of the million mosquitos around this city!!! they are everywhere people!

good walks, dinner and coffee... in China a good talk is always welcome!
