My name is Júlia, I’m 22 years old and I’m Brazilian. I’m a student of Chemical Engineering in Brazil, but currently I’m studying abroad in a city in Belgium called Hasselt.

I love traveling, meeting new places and new people, hanging out with friends and watching movies.

I’m new to couchsurfing, so I haven’t been hosted and I haven’t hosted anyone yet, but I’m really looking forward to this new experience.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

As all of the people who are on couchsurfing, I also love to travel and meet new people.

Since I started traveling, I’ve always stayed in hostels or hotels and, even though I could explore the cities by my own, I missed talking to people who lived there and knowing their opinions on what to do and what to explore. In my opinion, that’s the greatest way to actually know somewhere and it’s history and the best way to do that is through couchsurfing.

Besides that, meeting people from all over the world and their culture is really enriching and I love it.
