Hi, my name is Julia and I'm 24 years old. I'm originally from Austria but moved to Berlin 4 years ago to study at med school. As I guess most of you on here, I'm really into travelling and especially like doing things abroad like internships or voluntary work, since I feel it's way better to get to know people, the culture and learn their language. I'm actually also pretty interested in learning foreign languages. My other hobbies are reading, photography, I like being out in nature (mountains, especially) and I play the piano from time to time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I really appreciate it and want to give it back the same way. I also always like to get in touch with new people, find people to travel with or only talk about travel experiences.

I was lucky enough to do a world cruise.
Top on experience was voluntary work in Argentinian Patagonia I would say.
Internship in Cardiosurgery in Chile as well.
