About Me

Hi!! I always loved to travel, exploring different cultures, people and places. Traveler is a word that definitively defines me.

I have been in different travelling experiences, such as bike trips (crossing the north of Italy up to Austria); camping (south america), backpacking (Europe and Asia) and doing exchange program (Australia). But never couchsurfing.. YET :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As travelers, my husband and I realized it can be inexpensive and meaningful to explore the world. The couchsurfing initiative gives us the opportunity to transform travel into a way of life, more than just a holiday activity.

So, after a few months planing, we decided to quit our jobs, sell and donate most of our stuff and get ready to reach the road for a sabbatical year. We are looking forward to see what this life experience will bring us, acquiring new insights and perspectives, connecting to new life styles and friends.

Interests

Apart from traveling, I always loved sports and am on the move every time I can.
Nowadays, I basically practice capoeira and ride bikes.

Meet up friends (in a bar, a park, downtown or even in a quick break), read a good book or watch a movie are programs I will always join as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I am very ecletic when it comes to music. My favorite one is "Construção", a Brazilian song composed by Chico Buarque.

Movie - everything, except horror and "trash" comedy. I've watched quite a few times "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"

Series - no doubts my fave would be "Breaking Bad"

Book - hard to pick one. But I would choose "Capitães da Areia".

Teach, Learn, Share

Peoples' cultures, values, traditions, beliefs and habits are topics that always kept my attencion. I believe this is the richest thing that can be somehow shared, experienced and taught among foreign friends.

Apart from that, I could point out a list of what I would love to learn in the up coming years :)
- speak new languages (Italian and German)
- cultivate a self sustaining organic garden
- play the guitar

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be delighted to teach and share things I know, such as
- Capoeira
- Samba
- Languages (Portuguese, Spanish or English)
- Rithmic Gymnastics
- well.. there are a few other things I could list out, specially in sports and management fields :)
