About Me

I am an open-minded person who loves getting to know new people from all around the world.
Right now I live in Hull, North/East-England where I do my second Erasmus (once you tasted the year-abroad experience within this programme, you cannot get enough of it).
Last year I lived in the beautiful Córdoba, in Spain, where I studied Spanish philosophy and linguistics (I love it!!). I love to work with people with different backgrounds as well as to get to know different ways of living and cultures/ languages).
Getting to know different countries, cultures and people is very enriching as you face unique experiences and moments you never forget.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get to know new people. It's great to come into a new city, knowing that there is somebody who not only will share some moments with you, but also teaches you about his/ her perspective of life.
And even more, coming as a stranger, but leaving as a friend, is why couchsurfing is such a wonderful idea.

Interests

Besides my interests of travelling, I love to have dinner with friends, meeting for a drink, but also hiking or riding through the countryside by bike. I actually spend all my money in my travels and food :-o
Apart from that, I love to run and dance. In my hometown, Hannover, we have beautiful lakes which are perfect for a run.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hm... I think there is no THE one amazing thing I have done, but there are several things which I never want to miss; for instance my voluntary sevice in Santander, Spain, where I worked with blind people. This was an quiet enriching experience for me as I never had done it before. I met people who have a completely different life than the mayority of us. And the second thing I do not want to miss is my time in Córdoba..

But in general I think that the small things are the special ones; they stay in our mind and let us see the world through other eyes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be happy to show you something of my culture. It would be great finishing off the day together, with a nice drink, dinner or having a walk through the city in the evening hour.

Countries I’ve Visited
