I'm curious about any culture in any part of the world. Meeting and learning about other people is something I very much value, as well as good food and good movies.

I love to write creative fiction, learn new languages, and explore a new (or not new) city. I grew up in and around Chicago, but I'm still not familiar with it as much as I'd like to be. I try to try as many new things as I can. I consider myself an introvert, so I like to just chill and think sometimes.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Like most people who are a part of Couchsurfing, I love to travel and meet people who also love to travel. A friend of mine referred me to CS, so here I am, giving it a try. I'm very new to this. I'm excited, however, to have a unique and enriching experience with interesting people.

兴趣

I do a lot of writing, both for school and for myself. Movies - I'm down for any genre, but I do a lot of casual critiquing, mostly because I might want to do screenwriting in the future and I get cynical about strained plotlines. I love any kind of food! I don't do a lot of cooking but I would like to get into that more.

I somehow thought it would be a great idea to give a presentation on the philosophical and metaphorical implications of the traveler/tourist contrast in Italian, barely knowing Italian at the time, to a room full of Italians. It went o.k. There was a lot of incoherent mumbling.
