关于我

My name is Julia and I am a student at Freie Universität in Berlin, where I study language and philisophy.
Before my quite spontaneous moving to Berlin I lived one year in Daressalaam, Tanzania for a voluntary service. There, I unfortunately didn't find myself, as we young people always try to, but some great friends and a lot of experience about the tanzanian culture, cultural problems, people in general and being independent.
Now I live in an exciting city in a beautiful flat with great friends and I am quite satisfied with my live as a student.
Some descriptions about my character: I am a person who is sometimes a bit shy when meeting new people ... but if the people are friendly, I start to be an open person, who likes to talk with others and share stories, experiences and opinions.
I always try to be an uncomplicated person, so that everyone around me is feeling good.
Furthermore I am a musician - not that good one, but I learned to play the clarinet for 10 years and I still love to play music.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When I'm travelling I don't just want to see the "tourist" face of an country or a region, I want to see the truth of the place I'm staying. Especially in Tanzania, the "tourist" and the "real" face of the country are quite different.
So I thought, a good and easy way to see a country not just with the eyes of a tourist, is to get to know with people who are living there and for this, couchsurfing seems to be a good way.
Furthermore - I like to get in contact with new people, and this seems really easy if you are staying in the apartment of someone you don't now, isn't it?

音乐、电影和书籍

My favorite music goes from electronic music (thank you, Berlin) to heavy metal to rap until movie soundtracks ... so it's fun to discuss about music with me, because I like nearly everything and I find in nearly every music style good things I like.
Whit the clarinet I really like to play Klezmer music, because ... I just think it sounds amazing!
My prefered book genre are fantasy books, but I can also read everything else, if it's good written and has an interesting story.
Best books for me:

Eragon
A song of ice and fire
Harry Potter
Erebos
desert flower
. . . . .

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

getting a tattoo as the final step of a mental recovering

教,学,和分享

Without learning, for me my live seems to stop, I alway want to learn something new, no matter what. And teaching ... I don't know if I can teach someone because of my life experience ( I'm too young) but I can share my stories.
