About Me
Hi! The US are what I currently call home, I'm living in a nice host family in Springfield, Virginia, very close to the capital Washington D.C.. After my graduation in Germany I decided I want to go abroad, see the world and now here I am! I'm an nineteen year old Au Pair since September 2016 and I feel very good about it, I have many opportunities to travel with my host family or other Au Pairs: Ohio, New York, Michigan, Chicago and so on!
I always describe myself as a confident, open-minded, life enjoying young woman but also very funny because I'm all over the place sometimes... but that mostly happens with people who know me very well and I forget myself for a moment - in a good way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I want to get to know new people and get to know other ways of living and thinking in the US, in the world, I decided to sign up at couchsurfing.com! I hope to meet interessting people - but of course it's also a cost-saving opportunity to travel for young, open-minded people!
I hope to find nice hosts who offer me a place to stay for the night, share stories or a good meal - or just a bed!

Music, Movies, and Books
I accually don't like the question about my music taste.. depends on my mood, I could hear classic if I miss my sisters piano play or opera if I miss my singing lessons, I could hear the latest radio station charts if I'm happy or just want to hear anything, but I also hear rock music while cleaning up, so that question is really hard to answer!
Movies: I enjoy watching "real" movies, stories which could really happen or even happend in a similar way, movies that are based on reality or facts that keeps the plot real!
Books: The same!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm doing it right now! I live 7000km away from my home Germany and dive into the deep unknown world of the United States of America - and I love it!
Teach, Learn, Share
Ya.. What can I say now? I'm a musician. I play the piano and kind of also the guitar and I like to sing. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family (back in Germany I have a reeeeaaaal big family).. what can you learn from me? I had psychology in high school as my main subject, so if you want to have a super clever quote concerning this matter from your guest - I'm your girl! I really like to share my story (although it's not much), my thoughts and my kind of happyness spreading human being with people who want to spend time with me!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Funny stories, pictures, my singin voice and bad guitar play (if there is a guitar) and last but not least my cooking skills #Germanpancakesarethebest (!!!)
