I'm Julia from Budapest, but currently living in Paris. I would LOVE to just state my occupation here, but I can't, because I haven't found it just yet. I have been working as an event manager back in Budapest, loved it, adored it, but then COVID happened. Been through some stuff, ups and downs, but long story short I am now in Paris, looking for inspiration, while serving coffee for a living until I figure it out, haha.
One thing's stable, my fiance, Adam. He's a photographer, loving to take portraits, fashion, and lifestyle photos. I think of myself as a creative person, so we do lots of photoshoots together, recently mostly about models. It's been a long time since we've been discussing that we want to go around some cities and countries to make a "photobook" of memories, mostly of places and locals.
I/we love meeting new cultures, listen to exciting stories and explore beutiful souls and places. I am currently writing my vegan cookbook, so I'm happy to make some dinners for us. :)
I have some random tattoos since I bought a tattoo gun, so let me know if I should bring it to yours, some tattoos in exchange for stay can never hurt haha

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past few years I have gotten too comfortable living at home with my fiance, working, and just forgetting about traveling for fun, organizing last minute trips, and making unforgettable memories to look back at later. So after a few years of a calmer lifestyle, I am ready to get back to making crazy memories, friends, and lifelong connections with people out there! I'm not so loose with money, but I don't want that to keep me from traveling and seeing the world, so I find Couchsurfing the perfect bandaid for my "problems". :)

I can teach you some hungarian, not that it's useful, but anyway...
I can also show you some tips and tricks in the kitchen, let you in on some of my secret recipes
My fiance can teach you some photography, and also will happily do a photoshoot of you /for work,portfolio, or just for fun/

I am happy to learn any interesting history of the country or city I am visiting, or whatever your super skill is you'd want to share. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I was raised well by my superwoman single mother of 4, so apart from cooking us dinner I can definitely help you with cleaning, or any work around the house. I am an easy guest, I'll go along with whatever, and also happy to sleep on the kitchen counter... :)
