Hi,

I'm Julia. I study English and French at the university of Freiburg and I'm about to finish my studies this year. I have lived in France for some time and love travelling in general. I'm giving private tuition to finance my studies and my love for traveling. I love travelling and I'm really looking forward to seeing the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and the couch surfing community seems to be really open-minded and inspiring.
Although I do not have many experiences with couch surfing so far, I can imagine that this experience will leave you with a lot of unforgettable memories.
Furthermore, living together with local people will open up a whole new world, completely different from the one you might get to know while staying in a hotel.

Interests

In my free time I like being with my friends, going to the cinema on rainy days, reading (mostly french) books, listening to good music, snuggling up in bed but also partying, jogging, playing volleyball, going on spontaneous trips, swimming in the ocean, playing in the snow, hiking - just in general being in nature!

I could teach you some German or French if you are interested in that kind of stuff. Also I always love hearing and learning new languages!!!
If you ever need some advice on how to renovate a house/flat, feel free to ask me :D I have moved a lot in my life so far and have spend the most time of my childhood in building supplies stores.
Apart from that I'm a pretty good listener and love having long conversations over one or two glasses of wine.
