Overview
About Me
Hey hey hey! I'm Julia, a college student from South Korea in the United States. I'm an aspiring journalist (writing+video+photo), love crisp air, and food, health, photography, watching movies, laughing at my own puns, walking, going to museums and reading! I laugh really easily, you'll have to decide if it's at you or with you :)
I'm doing a WWOOF/workaway trip on a farm near Akureyri in June/July, but I have a couple free days before/after my stay to explore other parts of the country.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Budget+desire to travel+meet people so couchsurfing seemed like an awesome place to look! I have 8 years communal living experience[boarding school+college] so I will be a considerate guest in your home. I want to learn about local people to have a more genuine experience in Iceland, and just to have a great time with generous people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer, my sister and I planned a backpacking trip to Jeju Island, which is like South Korea's Hawaii. Seeing a different part of my own country in a more free way instead of going to a hotel like when we were little, and getting to see the beautiful countryside and sights with my sister was awesome and special and a true memory.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn learn learn about/from the world and people I meet, I don't know if I'm in a place to teach anyone but I'm always open to discuss views on any topic, my cultures and my experiences living in different countries and cities, we're bound to find some common points and differences!
