About Me

I am an open-minded person who loves to travel and meet new people :)
I studied an Erasmus Mundus master program, so for 2 years I moved quite a lot! So far I’ve lived in 6 countries.
Now I decided to give a break on this “moving journey” and live in Hamburg, working as a Fire Safety Engineer.

I’m really into climbing/bouldering and yoga.
I also enjoy Forró, a typical Brazilian partner dance; Maracatu is also an amazing and colourful folk dance from Brazil.
I am vegetarian, so I'm also interested in different veggie foods - new recipes and spices! :)

I love being outdoors, mainly during summertime. I love quiet places.. beaches very early in the morning, empty forests, night walks on small towns.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Brazilian music (Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque, Maria Bethânia, Alceu Valença..), but I listen a lot of different styles -from Pearl Jam to Ben Howard. Remarkable books: Animal farm (George Orwell), The Universe in a Nutshell (Stephen Hawking), 1984 (George Orwell) and Metamorphosis (Kafka), O Cortiço (Machado de Assis, Brazilian writer), I love poetry, mainly from Brazilian and Portuguese writers - Mario Quintana, Paulo Leminski, Fernando Pessoa...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have already seen the Northern Lights; they are just AMAZING!
I have done a long hiking in Norway (Trolltunga) - 28km in one day with a lot of snow.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some Portuguese, some basics about yoga and climbing (I'm not a yoga instructor, neither a good climber, but I've practiced yoga for some years and use to go bouldering quite often). I'm very eclectic, so I can share moments with beer or tea, yoga or party :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share experiences, nice stories and smiles! I would love to have some beer/coffee/tea together and prepare a good Brazilian dessert or vegetarian food :)
