About Me

Hey guys! I'm Julia a pretty open minded young girl from Germany, who loves to travel, meet new people and lern something about other cultures.
Live is too short to do things that makes you unhappy... So I quit my boring office job in Germany in March 2016 and left my "golden cage" to see and explore the world with all his adventures and unplanned things... now it's like an addiction. I'm not really afraid to discover the world by my own. .. because If you don't want, you're never alone.

I'm a creative person as well and I love to talk with people, to get their point of view about life, situations and dreams.

I've a lot of different interests. Sometimes it depends on my mood in what I'm interested. Generally I'm addicted in doing sports, because I have a lot of energy which needs to be burn. I love to play soccer (I played for 8 years in a women soccer team). I also love hiking, riding my bike, snowboarding, jogging or just doing spontaneous and adventorous activities and so on.
Because of doing a lot of sports I'm also pretty interested in healthy food. That's why I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen.

Being creative is another hobby I like to to. If I don't want to do sport for relaxing I love to draw and paint... It's like an expression of my feelings and personality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me it's too superfical just to visit a country like a typical tourist. Just seeing things and so on don't open your mind. No, it's the conversations with the people who lives their.

And to be honest.. I'm tired and bored of staying in hostels. When I travel or just visit a country for vacation I love to get into close touch with the people who live there. It's the best way to get in contact with the locals, their lifestyle and culture and who can intodruce a visitor into the best places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hey?! Why just one? Let's say I tell you more than just one amazing thing I've done. Here we go:

50 meter bungee jump in Whistler...fucking CRAZY feeling, when the earth comes closer and closer. For one second you think you have to die...

Sleeping on a rooftop on a 30 metres high building during a mild summer night under the spangled sky and watch the sunset, the moonrise and in the morning the sunrise.

Snorekling with sharks, stingrays, marine turtels and other big fishes in the second largest reef in the world, in the Belize Barrier Reef.
