I am not a couch potato but love catching up with friends and family.
Moreover besides travelling, which is my dedication (some claim I would have bees in the bum...), I am always interested in learning new things about other people's countries, cities, cultures and interests.
My second favorite hobby is my job which is pretty much connected to being and getting in contact with others-I'm a teacher.
Sometimes I can easily be motivated for relaxing things such as just reading a book or to go for a swim. However, most of the time, I am rather keen on doing athletic activites such as going to the gym, snowboarding, scuba diving, laser tagging etc.
Futhermore, I am in love with food and therefore I enjoy cooking together with friends and discovering both new national and international recipes.
In my opinion one is never too old to go dancing or partying and that's just only one out of the many reasons why I like to go out and explore the nightlife of a city. I' afraid everything else about me you have to find out yourself...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people especially those who are interested in seeing new places and exploring the world. In fact, it is exactly this very knowledge about someone else's background and home region (historical background) I am curious about. As a teacher of English, it is very important for me to keep in contact with English as well as other languages. According to my opinion couch surfing offers a possibility to get to know a place from the perspective of a "homie", the people living there... and most of the time that's the most interesting one.
