About Me

CURRENT MISSION

That's a legitimate question

ABOUT ME

I chose Freiburg for studying because it is considered to be Germany's warmest city with the most sun hours per year. So far I am no that convinced but Freiburg was a good decision though. Anyway, "sun hours" is a relative term. I study Political and Islamic Sciences and live together with an old friend of mine called Anna who is studying Social Work. We're both always keen on meeting new people and hearing their stories and also huge fans of hospitality due to fact we've both experienced it very intensively (Italy, Nepal, India, Senegal, Israel/Palestine) and now wanna be a part of it!
.. btw: we like and we know how to cook good local and international food! ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My flatmate and me did one "official" couchsurfing in Vienna, Austria, but lots of "inofficials" at all the places we've passed through on our trips to different cities and countries. We love it!

Interests

Everything and nothing - you always find something you have in common. Anyway, the success of an activity stands or falls with the people you're with. But of course there are some things i am especially happy to spend my time on, e.g. being outside and having a barbecue or campfire, watching a good movie, cooking and eating together, smoking hooka, discussing, philosophizing, going to a concert or festival - and playing "Stadt-Land-Fluss"! Furthermore I am really interested in whats going on all over the world - especially the middle east is really fascinating me (my flate mate freaks out on African countries, especially the western part) so I am not reluctant to have any debate on principles. but also i enjoy to leave all the "serious matters" behind and just enjoy the moment (i like people who not always try to be serious and grown up and are able to let out their insanity when they feel like it but also can be serious when its necessary.)
