Overview
About Me
We are a family from Russia — my name is Yulia, my husband Dmitry, and our 10-year-old son Arseny.
Dmitry is a magician and performer with more than 17 years of experience. His stage name is DUDINI — he can turn any space into a stage and fill it with laughter, curiosity, and wonder.
I’m Yulia — a content creator, collage artist, and former flight attendant. I love capturing stories through video and finding beauty in everyday life.
Arseny is our son — a young explorer and beginner programmer (he already codes in Python!). He’s thoughtful, kind, and loves animals very much.
We live and create at Guslitsa Art Place — an industrial castle from the 19th century, located in a small village 100 km from Moscow. It’s home to our Chamber Theatre of Illusions, where real magic happens every day.
We dream of traveling the world with our Magic Show, sharing art, laughter, and human connection. Our next destinations are Istanbul and then Goa, where we plan to spend the winter.
We are fascinated by local cultures and love learning about people wherever we go — that’s why we joined Couchsurfing.
We’d be happy to share our own stories about the life of a magician’s family and our creative adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We believe that the best part of traveling is not the places, but the people we meet along the way.
Through Couchsurfing, we want to connect with locals, learn about their culture, daily life, and hidden gems that no travel guide will ever tell about.
We love deep conversations, laughter, and shared dinners that turn strangers into friends.
And in return, we bring our own little magic — quite literally!
DUDINI can perform a few tricks, Yulia can capture some moments on camera, and together we can fill an evening with stories, smiles, and inspiration.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just recently (27.10.25), we had one of the most unforgettable days of our lives.
A week before the birthday celebration of Guslitsa Art Residence, we decided to renovate our Chamber Theatre of Illusions — a cozy venue inside a 19th-century industrial castle that once was a textile factory.
We thought seven days would be enough. It wasn’t.
Old walls hide many surprises, and by the night before the event, we were still painting, sewing curtains, and working without sleep. At 7 a.m., we finally decided to take a short rest — and that’s when Dmitry smelled smoke.
Together with our neighbors, we discovered a fire in the boiler workers’ room.
The extinguishers didn’t work, smoke filled the second floor, and we started evacuation.
Six fire trucks arrived, and for a while, the entire building — 14,000 square meters — was filled with thick smoke.
Dmitry had to crawl under the smoke to get out, and our friend Anton carried a woman from the third floor to safety.
Luckily, no one was hurt, and the volunteers and residents of Guslitsa came together to clean, fix, and keep the celebration alive.
And you know what? That same night — at 11 p.m. — we finished the renovation, hung the new curtain, and performed a full magic show to a packed audience.
It was also our anniversary.
A day of fire, chaos, teamwork… and real magic. 🔥✨
Teach, Learn, Share
We love bringing magic to everyday life!
Dmitry (DUDINI) can show close-up tricks right in your home or on the street — the kind of magic that happens just a few inches away.
He can also teach you a simple trick to surprise your friends, or even how to play a few rhythms on djembe or a drum kit (if you have one!).
Yulia can capture beautiful photos and videos — perfect for memories, your home, or your business.
Arseny can share some cool Minecraft lifehacks, show how to create Telegram bots, or help you start programming in Python.
We’d love to learn about your local traditions, food, language, and daily life — the real culture that tourists rarely see.
We’re especially interested in street art, music, and performance scenes in every city we visit.
In Istanbul, we dream of creating a street magic show to share wonder with locals and travelers alike.
We can share laughter, stories from our life as a magician’s family, and maybe a bit of live magic in your kitchen or living room.
We’d love to cook together, exchange creative ideas, or just spend an evening talking about life, travel, and dreams.
And of course — we’ll share friendship, warmth, and unforgettable moments.
