About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel around the world

ABOUT ME

I love travelling and meeting new people. I would love to visit more of South America, the USA, Canada and Europe. I have 3 dogs at home who I love to pieces and I love animals in general. I´m always up for a good night out and a laugh.
In my first proper career job after going around the world which was amazing.... I did't want to stop!!

PHILOSOPHY

I just take life as it comes.... You never know what's around the corner or where life will take you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am always happy to host people or just to show people around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I would love to meet new people from different cultures and backgrounds from all over the world.
In Rio, I couchsurfed with a friend and we both loved it! It was really nice to meet people who live there and could help us getting around and showing us their culture and lifestyle.
I worked in Venice, Italy in a hostel so was always showing people around the beautiful city and helped them explore the nightlife.

Interests

Having 3 dogs means I spend my spare time walking them. I love going to the cinema and love swimming but haven´t recently had the time to go often. I really enjoy horse riding and hiking and just generally being outdoors!
Other things I love doing include skiing, chilling out with friends, going for nice meals, watching tv and reading books.

Music, Movies, and Books

Definitely into more recent music more than anything but do like some old music. I love my films and always go to see the latest releases as soon as I can. Reading is a hobby but I don´t always get the chance to sit down with a good book but I like romance books and some comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever seen/done was to visit the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador. I got to see the animals up ridiculously close and the scenery was stunning. Would 100% recommend anyone to do this!
Having visited Rio de Janeiro we managed to see Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf mountain during a sunset which was amazing and beautiful.
One of the best things I have seen has to be Niagara Falls in Canada where I got upgraded in the hotel to one of the top floors so I could see the falls all day (I also learnt that they turn off/redirect the Falls at night to stop it eroding!!)
We also went white water rafting up the river towards the whirlpool down from the Falls which was so much fun!! I loved every minute of it and would like to do it again someday.
I spent nearly 8 months working in Venice and it has been the most wonderful experience. I love it there and always am planning my next trip back.
They were all amazing experiences which I will look forward to sharing with people.
